According to these posts, Graci was last seen in black shorts and a black shirt. The posts went kind of viral, with some of them getting over 200 shares, which got people really worried and wanting to help. But here’s where it gets weird—different posts mentioned different locations for where Graci went missing. Some said Columbia Gorge or Hudson, others said Stockton or Pickens County. It’s like, where is she really from?
When people started digging into it, it turns out Graci Mae Thompson might not have even gone missing from Texas at all, despite what the original posts claimed.

Some people on Facebook started raising red flags, saying this whole thing might be a scam. They noticed that none of the posts mentioned any police department to contact, and there were no news stories to back it up. It got sketchier when the posts started spreading on pages like “Stuff For Sale” and “Upper/Lower Kittitas County Auction.” It made folks question if this was all just a scam, especially since there’ve been similar scams going around in Texas and nearby states.
One page called NewsHubb Update even said that Graci had been found safe after her report on July 22. So, like, what’s the deal? It seems like this whole thing might be someone trying to mess with people’s emotions to gain something out of it.
In the end, everyone’s just saying to be careful and not fall for these kinds of scams. Always check your facts before believing stuff like this, especially when names are getting mixed up like “Gracie” or “Grace Mae Thompson.”
